Tongariro Alpine 2 day Package

Walk the challenging world-famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing the easy way with our all-inclusive Tussock Grove Alpine Crossing package. This includes accommodation for two nights in a comfortable mezzanine room for two people, fully-cooked breakfast both days, a hunger-busting packed lunch, including sandwiches, home baking, fruit, and a bottle of water, shuttle transfers and a delicious three course dinner after the walk.

Package for two includes

Day 1
2:00 onwards	Arrive at Tussock Grove Boutique Hotel Welcome, itinerary, current weather information etc
Dinner 1st night:	Own arrangements. Walk or drive an easy kilometre to Ohakune’s cafes and restaurants.
Day 2
6:15 – 6:45 a.m.	Breakfast: Fully cooked or continental breakfast. Guests pick up their Packed Lunches.
7:00 -7:15 a.m.	Shuttle arrives at hotel and guests depart for Tongariro Alpine Crossing, (approx. 21 km- average time 5.5-6.5 hours)
8:00 a.m. approx.	Shuttle arrives at Crossing.
4:00 p.m.	Shuttle departs from other end of Crossing and delivers guests back to Hotel.
5:00 p.m.	Soak in the Spa, enjoy the hotel’s bar or gardens or just relax in your room.
7:00 p.m.	Dinner in Hotel’s restaurant.
Day 3
7:30-9:00 a.m.	Breakfast: Fully cooked or continental breakfast.
10: 00 a.m.	Depart.
Note:	Due to bad weather or conditions beyond our control which would make the Crossing dangerous, we offer an alternative low-altitude Walk through beech forest which is of the same distance and approximate time frame.
